Exciting News - LM 310

I have some exciting news to share!  I was asked to join the DT at Lasting Memories!  I did a 6 month term in 2011 and I was GDT in July, so I am thrilled and honored that they asked me to join their permanent DT.

This month, the overall theme is "Which direction are you going or went?"  This week, the challenge is "FORWARD" - Planes, Trains and Automobiles Inspired... anything that moved.  Boats, bikes, etc... or use an ARROW on your layout!!!

I had the perfect photos and paper for this challenge!  In January, I was in Los Angeles visiting my BFF.  She and I decided to take a bus tour of famous places from movies.  One of the stops was at Union Station, where many movies (Pearl Harbor, Catch Me if You Can) have filmed scenes.  I loved the architecture and the tile work of this historic train station.

September SIWAS Blog Hop!

This month at Scrap it With a Song we have a special event for you:
welcome to our BLOG HOP!
This year two great artists sadly passed away, leaving us a great legacy with their music and we would love to honor them with our works: each of us chose a song from Prince or David Bowie repertoire and made a project inspired by that song.

We are a music inspired challenge blog, we couldn't help ourselves not doing homage to them! We can't wait to share all their projects with you.

To celebrate the hop, we're giving away some great prizes: you'll definitely want to enter to win! It is really simple: to begin, just visit the first designers' blog in the list below. Look at her project, leave her a little bit of love in the comments section of her post, and click on through to the next designer on the list. Each blog will have the list repeated, so you shouldn't get lost along the way! After you've visited and commented on each blog, just come back here and leave a comment on this post to win a pretty awesome prize!

I chose "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince.  I have always loved this song.  I decided to do a layout of my sister in law's bachelorette party.

Blog hop list:

There's awesome prized on the SIWAS Blog! Thanks for hopping along with us! We hope you will have fun and inspiration.
