Two Quick & Easy Birthday Cards

My two best friends live in New York.  They were both home for Easter weekend.  I had dinner with them on Saturday night.  Since both of their birthdays are in April, I wanted to give them their cards rather than mail them.  I made these two card using Lyrical Letters and K&Co Paper.  I also used adhesive pearls.

Easter Lamb Card...

I have always loved sheep and thy are my favorite "Easter animal."  I attended an agricultural high school in the middle of Philadelphia.  When I was young I thought that I wanted to be a vet, and thus I chose to go to that school.  I really loved the sheep and I ended up having one that was "mine."  Her ear tag number was "14," so I named her "Catorce" which means 14 in Spanish (Spanish was one of my very favorite subjects at that time). My junior year of high school, I showed her in the Philadelphia County Fair and won 1st place!!!  Then my senior year, Catorce had twins.  I gave them Spanish names too, I named them Oveja (sheep) and Cordero (lamb).

Here's two photos I found in my high school photo album.  The first one is Catorce and me, the second photo is me holding one of her babies.

I needed to make an Easter card for my Mom. I used this sketch from Friday Sketchers.

Last 2 Bridal Shower Pages

My shower had a scrapbooking theme. Each table made a scrapbook page that was later put into an album for me (by one of my bridesmaids). In the top left corner, there is a picture of my & the scrapbook kit my mom got for me. The five square photos are some of the pages that were created at the shower. And the bottom picture is three of my friends posing with the page they made.

It's that time again!  On the 25th of each month, there is a Christmas card blog hop for the Magnolia-licious yahoo group.  It's great because I will have plenty of Christmas cards ready for this year!

I used Wilma from the brand new Raising the Ceiling 2010 Collection.  I get all of my stamps from Magnolia-licious.

If you want to start at the beginning of the hop, please click HERE.

If you came here from Kerry's blog, you're on the right track.

The Bow Hat

This layout is for the bow hat that the bridesmaids made me at my shower.  I used the Stuck on you sketches (SOUS) for this week to create this layout.

The challenge at Practical Scrappers this week was to use something you've had for over a year.  I got married 2 1/2 years ago and I've had the photos and Jolees embellishments since then! I have also had the Cricut Wild Card Cart for more than a year and only used it once or twice since buying it!
