LM 515 - Wonders of the World - China

This month at Lasting Memories, we would like to celebrate the wonders of the world and celebrate different cultures. This week, we are focusing on China. The Chinese are well known for their Feng Shui. So this week we would love to see a layout that is balanced! Using the colors of the Chinese calendar - White and Blue.

I chose to create a layout from a friend's bridal shower in March.  The shower was the weekend before we went on lockdown for Covid-19.  I am so glad I got to spend some time with my girlfriends before we were on quarantine for the next couple months.

September Stick it Down

Here's this month's sketch at Stick it Down, designed by yours truly: 

I created a layout using photos from a parade for my nephew.  Justin became a volunteer firefighter at 16 years old.  During quarantine, just after he turned 17, his nextdoor neighbor collapsed.  She wasn't breathing and he gave CPR and brought her back to life.  His fire company did a drive by parade to celebrate Justin's heroism.
