LM 572 - Stash Bash - Ephemera, Chipboard and Tags

This month at Lasting Memories, we are bashing our stash.  This week, our challenge is to use ephemera, chipboard and/or tags.

I created a layout using lots of chipboard.  The photos were taken last summer at my brother's house.  I got a giant alligator float for their pool and my nephew (he was 2.5 at the time) loved it!  He even had on his alligator swimsuit and shirt.

October Challenge YOUrself

   This month at Challenge YOUrself, we are creating layouts using black and white plus one other color!

I created a layout using a selfie in my favorite winter hat.  It's a black cloche with a flower and I love the 1920's vibe it gives.

I created a layout using photos from a bachelorette party in the Finger Lakes of New York.  We did a hike to a a waterfall and it was incredible.

LM 568 - Famous Designers - Maggie Holmes

This month at Lasting Memories we are taking inspiration from famous designers.  First up is my absolute favorite, Maggie Holmes!  

The challenge: use Maggie Holmes products or adopt her style.  Maggie tends to have a more vintage look with pastel colors, black and white patterns, florals, polka dots, plaids, bows, cameras, hearts, doilies, butterflies and animals (especially birds or forest critters).  

I created a layout for my pregnancy album.  Back in June, we found out that we are having a girl.  I'm due on November 25th. We found out on the Friday of Father's Day weekend.  I gave my husband this book and onesie for Father's Day.  I used this photo to make our Facebook announcement.
