September Stick it Down

Here's the September double page sketch that I designed for Stick it Down:

I decided to scrapbook pictures from Thanksgiving 2018.  Every year my husband and I host dinner so that we can have both of our families there.  I decided to use the Pink Paislee Auburn Lane, my favorite fall collection ever!

This month at Lasting Memories, we are using recipes.  This week, our challenge is to use 1 photo, 2 mats on your photo, 3 or more fussy cut elements and use elements to create a wreath around your photo.

My BFF lives in Los Angeles. The last time I went to visit her, we went to an awesome bookstore in Downtown LA.  It's called "The Last Bookstore."

This month at Lasting Memories, we are using recipes.  This week, our challenge is to use 1 banner, 2 photos, 3 or more chipboard elements and gilttery letters or embellishments.  

I used the recipe to create the left page of a double page layout.  I'll share the right page here too.  This is from Christmas morning 2017.

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is plants.  This week, we are using fruit on our layouts.

I had these two selfies from my Bahamas trip where I was wearing my pineapple shirt.  This pineapple paper was perfect to use for them!

LM 460 - Plants - Palms

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is plants.  This week, we are using palms on our layouts.

When we were in Nassau, I was delighted to see that their government building is PINK!  It was so pretty and tropical.  I has to take some photos and this pink palm paper seemed perfect for it!

August Stick it Down

Here's the August double page sketch for Stick it Down:

I decided to scrap some photos from Easter.  My grandmother lives in a nursing home and her birthday happened to fall on Easter this year.  We took her out to lunch at her favorite place, Applebee's.  We were able to take some family photos outside and I love how they turned out.  My husband was spending Easter at his mother's house.  My brother and sister in law were both working, so I was watching my 1 year old nephew and brought him to lunch with us.

LM 458 - Plants - Flowers

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is plants.  This week, we are using flowers on our layouts.

I went to the Philadelphia Flower Show last year with my husband.  My nephew went to an agricultural high school (my alma mater) where they create an exhibit for the show.  My nephew helped to work on it, so there's photos of him and the exhibit.
