LM 357 - All About Animals - At the Zoo

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "All About Animals."  This week, our challenge is to use a zoo animal - it can be in your photo, on your paper or embellishments, etc.

When I came up with this month's challenge, I knew exactly which photos I wanted to use.  In December, we went on a trip to St. Augustine, Florida.  We visited The Fountain of Youth.  There were peacocks EVERYWHERE!  And you could feed them peanuts!  I absolutely LOVE peacocks and this was the absolute highlight of my trip.  The photos worked really well with this gorgeous paper!

August Stick it Down Challenge

Here's the sketch for this month's challenge at Stick it Down.

In December, my husband and I went to St. Augustine for vacation with his family.  We visited the oldest wooden schoolhouse.  I used an old Webster's Pages collection and its vintage school images were PREFECT!
