Facelift for my blog....

I was on PinkLady50's blog (she does AWESOME decoupage cards!) the other day, and I noticed that she had a cute blinkie that said "share some love, leave a comment." I clicked on the blinkie and went to shabbyblogs.com (and yes, I have the same blinkie on the top right of my page!).

I decided that my blog needed a facelift. I found this awesome background and header, so I added it to my blog. I hope you like it!

Thank you PinkLady50! (And shabbyblogs.com!)

Wedding photo...

My husband and I went to a wedding on Saturday. I thought I would share a picture of us.

Christmas Stamping All Year Long Challenge #16

I recently discovered a blog for making Christmas cards all year long. It is my personal goal to make all of my Christmas cards this year. This is my first year making cards, so I'm not sure how realistic that goal is...

The blog is called Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. Every Monday they post a challenge.

This is this week's sketch:

We also had to include a little bling (I used gold dimensional paint).

Here is my card:

Baby Shower Card

A baby shower card for my friend who is having a little girl. I used Wild Card, Storybook, stamps, cuttlebug swiss dots, markers, and heart shaped brads.

Anniversary Card

My parent's anniversary is May 15th. I made this card for them.

No cricut - I hand cut the heart. I used the cuttlebug hearts folder, stamps, ribbon, and markers. On, and I used pre-cut chipboard buttons too. A quick and easy card.

Mother's Day Cards - The Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #4

I made these cards for my grandmother in law, grandmother, and mother. I need to make a few more...

I used Storybook Font for the shapes on the insides & front of each card. I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. I used the DCWV Spring Stack & Studio G stamps.

Pink Stamper's NSD Challenge # 1

The Pink Stamper, my favorite blog, is having a huge National Scrapbooking Day extravaganza!

She is posting a video, a challenge, and a giveaway each hour to celebrate!

Challenge #1 was to create something using brown and a pastel. I needed to make a Mother's Day card for my mother in law from the dogs. She walks them at lunchtime during the week while my husband and I are at work. This is what I came up with:

I used Storybook for the purple scalloped circle, Studio G stamps, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, Paper Pups, and the DCWV pet stack.

Scrapbook Card

I made this card for my friend and scrapbooking buddy, Jess.

Front:Inside:

The Studio G clear stamps ALL came in a pack for $1 and the ribbon was $1 too. Everything came from Michael's dollar bin. I also used brads and paper scraps.

A little fairy told me...

Inside:

Close up of the fairies:

This card is for a Cricut Card Fairy mission for a 5 year old's birthday. I thought that the fairies were so appropriate, since I am a card fairy.

The fairies are clear stamps by Studio G - I got them (they came in the same pack) for $1 in the Michael's dollar bin!!!!

I used brads, $1 ribbon from Michael's, stickles on the fairy wings, and the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch.

2 simple cards for Fairy Missions

These two cards were very simple to make. I used Martha Stewart's Doily Lace punch for the edges. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the flowers on the first card. On the second card, I used chipboard buttons I got in the $1 bin at Michael's. I also used adhesive rhinestones from the $1 bin at Michael's for the centers of all the flowers.
