November Challenge YOUrself

 Here's my DT entry for Challenge YOUrself.  This month, we have a "home for the holidays" theme.

I wanted to do something a little different with this challenge.  I have been working from home for the past 6 years and I wanted to create a layout about my Christmas party.  Since my co-workers and I live all over the country, we have to do celebrate over zoom.  We get dressed up, share a toast with our favorite holiday mugs, play games etc.  This year, I won a gift card for coming in 2nd for our "most festive" contest.  How do you like that headband?  LOL

LM 522 - Photo Inspiration

 This week at Lasting Memories, we have a photo inspiration:

I created a layout using photos from a backyard wedding of close friends.  Because of Covid, their reception was rescheduled by the venue.  The church still allowed them to have the ceremony though.  My husband and I offered to host the reception in our yard.  It was small, just the bridal party, their spouses and the bride & groom's immediate family.

LM 521 - Hello Fall - Monsters

 This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to feature monsters on your layout. I created this layout with photos of my favorite monster - my nephew last Halloween. He was one and a half.

LM 520 - Hello Fall - Pumpkin Spice

 This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use a pumpkin in your layout.  I used photos from carving pumpkins to create this layout.  Every year, my husband and I have a contest with our friends for the best jack-o' lantern.

LM 519 - Hello Fall - Full Moon

 This week at Lasting Memories, we are creating layouts with a moon.  I used a photo from Salem.  There's a status of Bewitched and it seemed like the perfect photo for a layout with a huge moon.

October Stick it Down

Here's the October sketch for Stick it Down: 

I used photos from this past Christmas.  My friend and I went to Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA.  It was built in the early 1900's and has beautiful tile work throughout it.  At Christmas time, they decorate the castle with lights and trees throughout.  It was a beautiful tour and I am so glad I did it.
