LM 478 - Anything Goes

Merry Christmas!  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!  This week at Lasting Memories, we are having an "anything goes" challenge. 

I created this layout about the fruit sale I attend every year.  It's at my alma mater.  Last year (2018) was the last one, as sadly my favorite teacher (who ran it) retired this June.

LM 476 - December Holidays - National Poinsettia Day

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is December Holidays.  This week, we are focusing on National Poinsettia Day, so our challenge is to use a poinsettia on your layout.

I had the perfect photo for this challenge.  Next to my sink, I have a dish drying mat with poinsettias on it.  My cat, Oliver, likes to sit or lay on it.  I took this photo last Christmas when he was about 10 weeks old.  I knew I had to use the title "Ollie Jolly Christmas" on the layout to play off his name.

December Stick it Down

Here's the December sketch that I created for Stick it Down:

I chose some photos from Christmas morning last year.  We always host a brunch at our house.  My mother in law and brother in law come, as do my parents.  Afterwards, we open presents with my  in-laws.  

I absolutely loved the December Hip Kit Club last year.  The papers and embellishments were exclusives and oh so pretty!  I love those puffy sticker words!

LM 475 - December Holidays - Mitten Tree

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is December Holidays and Special Days.  This week, our special day is Mitten Tree Day, so our challenge is to use mittens or a tree on your layout. 

I created a layout using photos from my annual pollyanna with friends.  We call it the "ho ho ho's party" so that's where the title came from.
