Lasting Memories 27

This week at Lasting Memories, we have a sketch challenge.

I modified the sketch a little so that I could have one horizontal and two vertical photos.  I used photos of our parents being introduced into the reception.

First Penance Card

I am in New York for the weekend visiting my BFF and goddaughter.  My posts for the weekend are scheduled, so hopefully they post as planned.

My nephew is making his first penance (confession) today.  Unfortunately, I found out about it after I bought my bus ticket for NYC.  I made this card for him and mailed it out earlier in the week:

Paper from unknown source (in my scrap bin)
Cricut Inspired Heart Cartridge

February Christmas All Year Long

On the 25th of each month, there is a  Christmas card blog hop for the Magnolia-licious yahoo group.  It's great because I will have plenty of Christmas cards ready for this year!

I used this adorable Tilda holding Christmas Ornaments.  Isn't she sweet?  I get all of my stamps from Magnolia-licious.

If  you want to start at the beginning of the hop, please click HERE.

The next stop  on the hop is Monique's blog.

Wedding - Window Formal Pics Layout

I went to a crop on Saturday and I got several pages done.  I had so much fun with this wonderful group of ladies!  Who knew that there's a monthly scrapbooking meet up in walking distance of my house?  They get together in a church basement and it only costs $5.  What could be better?

I made this page with some of the formal pictures my photographer took.  The William Penn Inn has this gorgeous window in the back (at the ballroom entrance).  We took some photos of us standing and kissing in the window.

The picture of us kissing in the window is one of my favorites!

A Birthday Card

I am going to a birthday party for a 1 year old this afternoon. I needed a quick card, so this is what I made for her.

I am going to a crop this morning/early afternoon.  I discovered that there's a Drexel Hill scrapbooking meet up once a month at a church literally around the corner from my house.  How excited am I?!?  This will be my first time attending the meet-up.  I met some of the ladies at the Stampin' Up party I attended last week.

Christmas Card - Week 7

Here's my quick and easy Christmas Card for this week. I used some paper scraps to make the background.  It was hard to get a good picture that showcased the card and showed the embossed sentiment.  So here's two.  I used the Winter Basket stamp by Heart Song Designs.

Heart Songs - Sleeping Kitty

I made a birthday card for my Mom using Sleeping Kitty by Heart Song Designs.  She has a siamese cat named Jasper, so I made the image look like him.

The ball of string is made from a button.  I ran it through my xyron so that one side was sticky.  Then I wrapped white string around it.  Easy peasy!  I used my glue gun to adhere it to my card.
