LM 485 - Once loved, now forgotten - die cuts

This week at Lasting Memories, we are using die cuts on our layouts.

This is actually made from a page kit that I got at CKC convention several years ago.  It has several die cuts, so I used it for this challenge.

These photos were taken at the Easter brunch that I hosted in 2017.

February Challenge YOUrself

Here's my DT entry for Challenge YOUrself.  This month, we are using the Mariah Carey song "Hero" as our inspiration.

I wanted to create a layout about my hero, my husband.  When we were dating and first married, my husband was in the army.  I have very few photos of him in uniform and these are my two favorites.

February Stick it Down

Here's this month's sketch from Stick it Down, designed by yours truly.

With the heart in the sketch, I thought this would be perfect to scrap to a friend's wedding I attended in November.  We had a great time and took lots of photos, so I will be making a second double page layout soon.

LM 483 - Once loved, now forgotten - Punches

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "once loved, now forgotten."  We are using tools that have been collecting dust in our stash.  This week, we are using punches on our layouts.

I recently got a cat punch and I was dying to use it.  I decided to combine it with several different sized circle punches.

This is my kitten, Rosie.  She was the second kitten I found outside of my home and brought in.  Both Oliver and Rosie have the same mother, who used to hang around my house before she was hit by a car.  I found Rosie last June, so she is almost a year old.  She was very skittery at first and it took a while for her to warm up to people and dogs.  Now she is just as sweet as can be.  She sleeps with my every night.
