LM 370 - Scrapbook Cooking - 1 large photo, 3 patterned papers, a pinch of wood veneer, a dash of chipboard pieces and a sprinkle of enamel dots.

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "scrapbook cooking" and we have recipe challenges each week this month.

This week's recipe: 1 large photo, 3 patterned papers, a pinch of wood veneer, a dash of chipboard pieces and a sprinkle of enamel dots.

I may have cheated slightly - I did use one large photo, but there's also 3 small photos.

I went to a bridal shower in July for a good friend.  There were little wooden hearts with the word "love" on them, so of course I stole some for my layout!  When I scrapbook events, I generally put the invitation on the page too, as I have done here.  I blocked out the phone number and e-mail to RSVP to.

LM 369 - Scrapbook Cooking - Twine/thread, sequins, labels, die cuts, solid card stock, and vellum!

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is scrapbook cooking. Our recipe for this week is twine/thread, sequins, labels, die cute, card stock and vellum.

I created a layout with a photo of my friend's daughter.  She was Cleopatra for Halloween last year.  I love this photo and I used some October Afternoon paper I've been hoarding.

I have a secret hatred of vellum, so I didn't have any.  I guess that's cheating slightly, but I didn't want to go out and buy some just for this challenge.

I am trying to finish up my 2016 scrapbook.  This sketch worked perfectly with some photos from Christmas morning.  Plus, I have been dying to break into my new Crate Paper Falala Collection goodies!  Here's my take on the sketch:
