For the ebay shop:

Prize package – 5 different cut outs from store - $17.50 value

My husband and I have shared 36 years together and we have 2 sons and a daughter and 2 glorious grandkids ages 3 and 6.

I started collecting vintage cards quite by accident. I was helping with my aunts estate sale and ran across her collection. The cards were so wonderful that I fell in love with them and have been collecting them ever since.

I love to get a new vintage scrapbook and read all about the lives and times of the individual. Some of their stories are truly inspiring.

Be sure and visit my blog where you'll find some great inspiration, tips, tricks and some free vintage images for you to use.

I'm really excited about being an sponsor for Craft Us Crazy and sharing these beautiful vintage images with you. I hope that you come to love them as much as I do.

I used this adorable Tilda holding Christmas Ornaments.  Isn't she sweet?  I get all of my stamps from Magnolia-licious.

Tuesday Throwdown #41

Happy Tuesday! This week at Tuesday Throwdown, our challenge is "anything but a card."   I decided to alter a cute mini hat box I had lying around. This is a gift for a friend with a March birthday.  Her bedding is navy blue, so I made this to match her bedroom.

Here's how the box looked when I started:

Wishing you a wonderful day

I went to my monthly scrapbooking meet-up on Saturday and I got my goodies from the Stampin' Up Party I attended on March 1st. I couldn't wait to play!

My brother in law's birthday is next week and I needed a card for him.  Does this look masculine enough?

Lasting Memories 30

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is a recipe.  We needed to use 3 layers, 2 brads, and 1 die cut.  I chose to make a page of my wedding party introductions at my wedding.  The photos are a lot lighter in person, but they didn't photograph well.  Sorry!

Here's some close ups to show the purple heart shaped brads I used in the center of some of the flowers.

Craft Us Crazy Challenge 4

This week at Craft Us Crazy, our challenge is "Celebrations."  I knew that I wanted to create a layout, and I knew just which pictures I wanted to use.  These are from my nephew's 7th birthday last March.

Detail shots:
I made this banner by hand with scraps of white paper, and I love how it turned out!

I doodled around the #7, since it was his 7th birthday.

I only had 6 candles, so the middle one is made with my printer/scanner/copier.  Can you tell?

Tuesday Throwdown #40

Happy Tuesday! This week at Tuesday Throwdown, our challenge is lace.  Our sponsor is Prairie Fairy and I chose this gorgeous Asian "Green Tea" image.

I have a confession.  I made this card without checking to see what the challenge was.  I even photographed it and thought I was done.  When I checked, I realized that I didn't have any lace on my card - OH NO!  I looked through my stash and none of my lace seemed right for this card.  I found a doily.  I used my distress ink to make it pink and I placed it behind the image.

Here's the completed card with the lace doily:

Lasting Memories 29

Our challenge at Lasting Memories is green and white.  Since St Patty's Day in Thursday, it only seems appropriate.

I had a hard time with this challenge though.  I couldn't figure out what I could scrap in green & white.  I mean, I don't have any St Patty's photos.  So after much deliberation, I remembered that I went to "Flight Night" for the Eagles in 2008.  Basically, it was a pep rally before the season began.  My husband and his friends are huge fans, so a bunch of us went.  It was so much fun!  We tailgated first, and then went into the stadium for games, like tossing a football through a tire.  Everclear performed, and I love them!  Luckily, my girlfriend Devin (in the circle pic on the bottom) took photos and I was able to scrap this!

I grabbed the Eagles logo from the internet and added the "flight night 2008" in Photoshop.

Close up of my husband and I.  (It looks really dark in the photo above).  I love my purple Eagles hat!  (Since then, I bought a pink Eagles jersey and a black one, but in 2008, I didn't have any).
