A Masculine Birthday Card

I have been making a lot of cards recently.  It's probably because my supplies are dwindling.  I was a Stampin' Up demonstrator for a couple years and I had made TONS of samples.  I still have several hundred cards already made up, but they're mostly Christmas or Thank You's.  I don't reach for them as often as birthday, wedding or baby cards.  My stash of those is basically gone!

I have a bunch of March birthdays, so there will likely be more card making in my future.

A First Birthday Card

I created this card for my BFF's daughter.  She turned one over the weekend.  Unfortunately, she lives in Los Angeles (and I am in Philadelphia), so I didn't get to see her for her birthday.  I wanted to make sure that I mailed a card though.

A Get Well Card

I haven't been making many cards lately, as I have so many stockpiled from when I was a Stampin' Up demonstrator.  

I checked my stock and I didn't have a get well card.  A co-worker was in the hospital for over a week and I wanted to send one to her.  This is what I came up with.

November Stick it Down

Here's this month's sketch from Stick it Down.  Guess what?!?  It was designed by ME!

I wanted to use LOTS of leaves on this layout, so I chose photos from last Thanksgiving.  I was able to try out my new Stampin' Up leaf stamps and die cuts.  I was also able to use up some leaves from my stash.  I love fall, so I have tons of rhinestones, buttons, sequins etc. in leaf shapes.

My husband and I host Thanksgiving each year.  We invite both sets of our parents, as well as our brothers and my nephew.  I am so thankful that we are able to see so much of our family each year.

Besties Layout

I have been checking out the challenge blogs this week and I have found some major inspiration.  I am entering this layout into two challenges.

At Scrap it with a Song, the song is "Circle of Life."  I included TONS of circles on this layout, so I'm sure it qualifies.  Side note: I can't get "Circle of Life" out of my head!

I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme, which happens to have a bunch of circles.

Here's my version.  I scrapped photos of my two best friends and I.  We don't get together often, as I am in Philly and they live in North Jersey and Los Angeles, but it's always so much fun when we are able to catch up!

The background paper is More Mustard by Stampin' Up.  All the patterned paper is Spice Cake, my favorite Stampin' Up paper collection EVER!

Mother's Day Cards

I needed Mother's Day cards for my Mom, Mom-in-law, and grandmother.  I am still trying to use up scraps and I absolutely LOVE this CTMH paper.  I can't remember what it's called.

The sunflower and bucket are CTMH stamps. All text plus the floral on the middle card are Stampin' Up.

Another quick & easy birthday card

I'm still using up some scraps and creating cards.  I used some gorgeous CTMH paper for this one.  The happy birthday & butterfly stamp are both by Stampin' Up.

I needed a couple baby cards, so I used my new "baby" die by Papertrey Ink and the footprint stamp by Stampin' Up.  The paper was some Stampin' Up scraps I was trying to use up.

Thanksgiving 2012 Layout

I saw something similar to this layout a couple years ago on a blog.  Unfortunately, I do not know where I saw it.  I saved a picture of the layout into my idea folder (before Pinterest existed!) and I finally got around to recreating it.  If anyone knows who made the original, please let me know and I will give proper credit.

This layout is or our thanksgiving dinner in 2012.  I host Thanksgiving each year and we invite my family as well as my husband's family.  We usually have 10-12 people.  Along with the journaling on the bottom right, I listed out our menu.

A Christening Card Using Buggies & Booties

I make a lot of baby cards, since so many of my family and friends have had babies in the last few years.  I made this christening card for my cousin's baby.  Her name is Perry.

I absolutely love all things vintage.  So when I saw the Stampin' Up set Buggies & Booties on ebay, I HAD to have it!  I have used it to make many baby & christening cards.  LOVE IT!

Baby Shower Rings Card

My husband's cousin is having a baby and her shower is today.  She isn't finding out the baby's sex, so I had to make a gender neutral card.

One of the things on the registry was the fisher price rings.  Right away, I knew that was what I would use as my inspiration for the card:
