A Mother's Day Card

I haven't shared a card in AGES!  I still make all of my cards, but I usually forget to snap a picture!

This is the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day tomorrow.

Mother's Day Cards

I needed Mother's Day cards for my Mom, Mom-in-law, and grandmother.  I am still trying to use up scraps and I absolutely LOVE this CTMH paper.  I can't remember what it's called.

The sunflower and bucket are CTMH stamps. All text plus the floral on the middle card are Stampin' Up.

Mother's Day Cards

Happy (belated) Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there.  I've had a busy weekend, and I am just getting around to posting pics of the cards I made on Saturday.  (Nothing like procrastinating, lol).

I needed to make quick and easy cards, plus I wanted to try out my new distress inks.  I saw a tutorial by Tim Holtz where you stamp the pad onto a craft mat and spritz water to make a water color design.

I needed 4 cards, one for my mom, mother in law, grandmother, and grandmother in law.

Supplies: Distress Inks in Tattered Rose, Concord Grape, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Cricut Lyrical Letters Cartridge, Studio G sentiment stamp, adhesive pearls

More Mother's Day cards...

Yes, this is to my mom from her cat, LOL

Now I am officially done all of my Mother's Day cards!

I used DCWV mat stacks - Pet stack & spring stack. I also used: Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, Storybook Font, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, Brads, Stamps, and Ribbon.

Mother's Day Cards - The Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #4

I made these cards for my grandmother in law, grandmother, and mother. I need to make a few more...

I used Storybook Font for the shapes on the insides & front of each card. I used the Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch. I used the DCWV Spring Stack & Studio G stamps.

Pink Stamper's NSD Challenge # 1

The Pink Stamper, my favorite blog, is having a huge National Scrapbooking Day extravaganza!

She is posting a video, a challenge, and a giveaway each hour to celebrate!

Challenge #1 was to create something using brown and a pastel. I needed to make a Mother's Day card for my mother in law from the dogs. She walks them at lunchtime during the week while my husband and I are at work. This is what I came up with:

I used Storybook for the purple scalloped circle, Studio G stamps, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch, Paper Pups, and the DCWV pet stack.
