April is Lawn & Garden Month.  This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to create a layout about your yard in April. 

Last April, I took photos of my dogs in my yard.  We had these beautiful white flowers growing in our grass and the dogs looked so cute frolicking in them.  I made sure to take a bunch of photos before we cut the lawn for the first time that year.

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use black & white with pink. 

I took some photos of my dogs recently with Valentine's Day props, though they're hard to see in the photos.  I just got a bunch of V-day supplies from Michaels and Tuesday Morning, so I was glad to have photos to scrap with it.

LM 356 - All About Animals - In the House

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "All About Animals."  This week, our challenge is to use an animal that could be in your house (dog, cat etc) - it can be in your photo, on your paper or embellishments, etc.

I was down the shore last week.  Each night, I would walk my dogs with my 14 year old nephew. The sun was setting one night and we talked down to the bay.  Rocky, my boxer, jumped up onto the wall.  I sat next to him and asked my nephew to take our photo.  I LOVED IT!  SO I asked him to have me my other dog so that she could be in the photo too.  These are two of my favorite photos of me and my dogs.  Look at that lighting!!!

Lasting Memories 45

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to create a mini album with a summer theme.  I got a mini 8x8" scrapbook album kit and made a little scrapbook for my mother in law from her grandpuppies. 

Snow Day!

Today was another snow day! We received between 14-16 inches of snow between yesterday and the wee hours of the morning.  I had off from work, so I did a lot of crafting, (mostly for my DT projects, so I won't be posting everything right away).  Here's some photos I took:

I created this layout of Daphne for my mother in law's doggie scrapbook.  I didn't get it done in time for Christmas, so I showed her what I had and promised to get it done ASAP.

Tuesday Throwdown #30

Happy Tuesday everyone! After a 2 week hiatus, we at Tuesday Throwdown are BACK!  Our challenge this week is embossing.  I chose to dry emboss using my cuttlebug, as well as wet emboss the sentiment using embossing powder.

Merry Christmas!

Here's some pictures from Christmas and more pictures of the house all decorated.   We got 8 inches of snow yesterday, so there's pictures of the dogs playing in it too.

I got a 60" TV for my husband.  He was shocked and THRILLED!
