LM 504 - Sketches

This month at Lasting Memories, we are using sketches.  Here's this week's sketch:

I created a layout using photos from Las Vegas this past fall.  My husband and I went to Fremont Street.  We walked around with giant beers, gambled at several casinos and listed to live music.  While we were walking around, some guys put snakes around my neck.  I have no fear of snakes.  My Dad buys and sells reptiles, so I grew up with snakes in the house.  My husband, on the other hand, hates snakes. I'm kinda shocked he got in the photo with me and snakes.

LM 503 - It's a Celebration - Sparkle

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use sparkle on your layout.  I used glitter letters for my headline. 

I created this layout with photos of my friend Kristin and I in Longport, NJ a couple years ago.  My parents have a house in Longport and I have been going there since I was a kid.  It's my happy place.

LM 502 - It's a Celebration - 5 or More Patterned Papers

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use 5 patterned papers on your layout.

I created a layout for our 2018 Christmas card.  I love to create a layout with my card each year.  It allows me to remember what our card looked like.  I also use it as the first page in the Christmas section of my annual scrapbook.

LM 501 - It's a Celebration - Confetti

This month at Lasting Memories, we had our 500th challenge and we are celebrating all month.  This week, we are creating confetti on our layout.  It could be mists/splatters, sequins, enamel dots or a shaker element. 

I created a layout with photos from a Backstreet Boys concert I went to last summer.  I went with two girlfriends and it was so much fun.  Backstreet Boys was my first concert when I was 15 years old, so it brought me back to those days.

June Challenge YOUrself

Here's my DT entry for Challenge YOUrself.  This month, we have a "summer dreams" theme.

I had some photos from last summer at the beach. We visit Cape May NJ a couple times each summer.  It's such a cute town!  These photos were from The Lobster House, our favorite restaurant down there.
