This year for Easter, we went to Cracker Barrel for brunch. We always do brunch with my in-laws and dinner at my parent's.
This month, one of the challenges at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges was to use just one photo. That's tough for me. I love photography and take a LOT of photos. (I joke with my scrapbook buddies and call myself a "photo crammer" because I am always squeezing as many photos into a layout as possible!) However, on Easter, this was the only photo we took, so it worked perfectly for this challenge.

4th of July Layout
Last 4th of July, my husband and I had a party at our house. I took a TON of pictures. I got a Lea France flag template and knew I wanted to use it to scrap these photos!
One of the challenges at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges this month is "how many can you fit?" I was able to get 13 photos into this spread. I LOVED THIS CHALLENGE! I take tons of photos and I jokingly call myself the "photo crammer" when I scrapbook. I am always trying to get as many photos into a layout as possible.

Playdate Layout
I created this layout of my friend's kids. One of my BFF's lives in NYC and I was watching her 18 month old and 4 month old overnight. I met up with one of my other BFF's and her 18 month old daughter so the kids could play together at the play ground. They had a blast!
This month at Lasting Memories Layout Challenge, one of the challenges is to use only 4 photos. I used 4 on each page. So that may be cheating a little, but one of the DT members did the same thing.

Challenge #10: Use a Banner
I am playing along with Memories in Thyme's online National Scrapbook Day crop/party. For challenge #10, they want us to use a banner in our project.
I LOVE BANNERS! I use them often when I scrapbook. This layout is from "Christmas morn." I absolutely love this October Afternoon paper and embellishments! I mean, how adorable is that little boy and dog? And the banner is just too cute!

Challenge #9: Use Die Cuts
I am playing along with Memories in Thyme's online National Scrapbook Day crop/party. For challenge #9, they want us to use die cuts or fussy cuts in our project.
I used my cricut to cut the headline and a Stampin' Up die to cut the leaves & acorn. These photos are from Thanksgiving 2015.
All paper is by Stampin' Up.

Challenge #7: Use Color Palette
I am playing along with Memories in Thyme's online National Scrapbook Day crop/party. For challenge #7, they want us to use the color palette from this photo in our project. I loved the blue background with hints of yellow, pink, and green.
My friends and I went to "Butcher & Singer," a restaurant in downtown Philadelphia. It has an "old Hollywood" theme. My friends and I love any excuse to get dressed up for themes, so we all went vintage!
This was actually a page kit by SEI. The colors worked perfectly for this challenge!

Challenge #3: Something with Wheels
I am playing along with Memories in Thyme's online National Scrapbook Day crop/party. For challenge #3, they want us to use something with wheels in our project.
I was looking through my photos and I fold some from Linvilla Orchard. I took my nephew and we took a hayride and I got some pictures of him posing on the tractor.

Solid Cardstock is Stampin Up (More Mustard, Early Espresso, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz)

Challenge #1: Use Cake
I am playing along with Memories in Thyme's online National Scrapbook Day crop/party. For challenge #1, they want us to use cake in our project.
I have been meaning to create this layout for a while and this was the perfect opportunity. Last March, we celebrated my grandfather's 89th birthday. He was home on hospice and he passed away almost a month later. We knew this would be his last birthday and we wanted to make it special.
My first job was working at a bakery, and I worked there for 6 years. I learned how to decorate cakes, so anytime there's a party, my friends and family ask me to make a cake.
