I took this prompt literally. When I lived in Drexel Hill, PA, there was a log cabin in walking distance from my house. My husband and I would go there often. After a snowstorm, I brought my camera and took some photos there. I used those photos to create this layout.

LM 350 - June Holiday Insights - Log Cabin Day
This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "June Holiday Insights." Our challenge this week is "Log Cabin Day," which is about a quieter, rustic time.

LM 349 - June Holiday Insights - Summer Solstice
This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "June Holiday Insights." Our challenge for this week is about the summer solstice. It's the day with the most sunlight all year. Since it's such a long day, you could add something long to your page.
I have a great picture with my girlfriends at my friend Theresa's birthday last year. I have been hoarding this paper for YEARS and it was time to finally break it out, since the teal was perfect for this photo!
I've been watching a lot of process videos lately and I have been loving the splattered pages. I am definitely doing this more often!

LM 348 - June Holiday Insights - Flag Day
This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is June Holiday Insights. Since 6/14 is flag day here in the USA, our challenge is to use red, white and blue.
Last summer, I met up with my two besties at the beach. My BFF's daughters came too, and I got the cutest pictures of them eating watermelon. I used them to create this layout. Of course, I had to include a pic of my two BFF's and I too!

June Stick it Down Challenge
Here's this month's double page sketch for Stick it Down:
I created a layout about the Boston Tea Party. We went to Boston as part of our anniversary road trip through New England last fall. It was interesting to see a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party and to learn about the key players in it.
You'll notice the black feather on the right side of the layout. Those were given to everyone prior to the reenactment - everyone held up their feathers in agreement for throwing the tea in the harbor.
