This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is This and That.  This week, our challenge is to use at least 2 photos on your layout.

I decided to scrap some photos from the Flyers game last year.  My husband and I took my 15 year old nephew (it was a xmas/bday gift).  

LM 429 - This and That - Trims - Ribbon, Lace, Washi or Paper Strips

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is This and That.  This week, our challenge is to use Ribbon, Lace, Washi or Paper Strips.

I decided to create a layout with photos from Phillies Baseball opening day last year.  My husband and I went with his Dad and brothers.  It was April, but it was absolutely freezing (about 32 degrees) so we were all bundled up.  It was a great game though - filam schore was 20-1, Phillies won.  We saw 2 grand slams and a 3 run homerun!

January Stick it Down

In September, my BFF (who lives in Los Angeles) came home for a surprise visit to Philadelphia.  She had a baby in March, and this was the first time I was able to meet her.

LM 428 - This and That - Bling, Buttons, Brads, Sequins or Enamel Dots

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is This and That.  This week, our challenge is to use Bling, Buttons, Brads, Sequins or Enamel Dots.

I decided to create a layout using these adorable shamrock shaped buttons from my stash.  Last year, I bartended during the "Shamrock Local" bar crawl in my neighborhood.  My two co-workers are in the photo with me.

Favorite Layouts of 2018

Happy New Year!  As in previous years, I want to compile my favorite layouts from last year. Click HERE to view my favorite layouts from 2017. 

Here's my favorites, in no particular order.  I LOVE making Christmas layouts, so there's quite a few of those that I chose.  There's also many vacation layouts. 

I notice that ALL of these layouts have patterned backgrounds, I rarely use white backgrounds on my layouts.  I LOVE COLOR!  You'll also notice that most of these use papers from my favorite companies - Crate Paper (especially Maggie Holmes), October Afternoon, Graphic 45 and Carta Bella.  I tend to stick to more vintage papers, rather than cutesy or whimsical designs.  This year, I added more texture into my layouts.  I have experimented more with mixed media, paper tearing, and I am definitely on a doily kick!
