Wizard of Oz Card & Frame

My friend Crisbel is really into The Wizard of Oz.  I saw the "Magic of Oz"  collection by Graphic 45 and I knew I had to make something for her!  Crisbel's birthday is in September, so I made her a card and matching picture frame.

Creative Vision Sketch & Card

I've created a simple sketch to showcase the "cake on fire" stamp set.  Here's my sketch:

I created some candles with my cricut machine to go with this cute sentiment.  Since it was a larger sentiment, I split it in half so that it could be on both sides of the image.  Here's my card:

Life Update

I've been slacking in my posts this week! Sorry about that! The school year has started back up and my job is in full swing. It's always hard getting back into the swing of things after having the summer off!

This past week, we renovated my kitchen too.  We used to have pale pink tiles (with fruit on them), pink walls, and pink countertops.  Our cabinets and appliances were in great shape, so we only changed out the countertops and backsplash.

Here's some before and after photos:

Stampin' Up Hello Blossoms

I went to another Stampin' Up demonstration on Thursday at my friend Laura's house. Claire Lawrence was our lovely demonstrator.  Here's the two cards that we made, using items from the new Holiday Mini (I ordered both of these sets, so you will be seeing more cards made using them):

I had gone to a Stampin' Up party at my friend Shea's house about 2 weeks ago.  My goodies came in on Thursday, so I received them at Laura's party.  I made this card using my new "Hello Blossoms" stamp.
