At Lasting Memories Layout Challenges, the theme this month is childhood games. This week's game is Candyland. Here's the inspiration photo:
I was inspired by all the colors. For some reason, it made me think of a painter's palette and I remembered my photos from "Painting with a Twist" recently. My mom, sister in law and I went and painted one of my favorite things, peacocks! We had so much fun!
This peacock paper was PERFECT for this layout! It's October Afternoon's "Woodland Park" collection. The letter and journaling stickers are from the same collection.
I used this month's sketch from Stuck?! for the left side of my layout. I rotated it so that the squares were at the bottom and it was a vertical photo.
