I am super excited to be the July GDT Member for
Lasting Memories Layout Challenge.
This month, the theme is "childhood games." For this week, this photo of snakes and ladders is the inspiration for our projects.
I remember playing this game as a child. However, I was more inspired by the snakes. My father has always kept lots of reptiles in the house, and still does to this day. I mean, at any given time we would have turtles, lizards, tortoises, frogs, and snakes. I found a photo of my BFF and I holding a Columbian Red Tailed Boa. The back of this photo says 1998, so we were about 14 years old.
I used this sketch from
Sketches in Thyme:
The solid cardstock is by Stampin' Up
Snake from the Cricut Pet Shop Cartridge
Black & white paper by Echo Park
Green mosaic paper by Recollections

Love that you went with the snake. Cute cut and I love the mosaic paper. Makes it feel like snake scales. Just overall awesome
