LM 410 - Transportation - Bicyles

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "Transportation."  This week, our challenge is to use bicycles on your layout.

When I was in Ireland, we stopped at a little coffee shoppe on our way to The Cliffs of Moher.  There was a bike sitting outside of it and I had to take a photo.  This is actually one of my favorite photos from Ireland.  I just love the white bike against the stone wall and the flowers in the basket.  So pretty!

I bought the Carta Bella Spring Market Collection specifically to use with this photo.  Aren't the bikes in this collection adorable?

LM 409 - Transportation - Boats

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is Transportation.  This week, our challenge is to use boats on your layout. 

I have been working on the scrapbook from my Bahamas trip.  There were some pirate statues in Nassau.  I had to get a photo of my husband with Captain Morgan, his beverage of choice.

August Stick it Down

Here's this month's sketch (designed by yours truly!) at Stick it Down:

I designed this sketch with these photos in mind.  When I was in Ireland, it rained several days while we were there.  (A hurricane hit too, but that's another story, LOL).  I told my husband I wanted him to take some photos of me with my umbrella because I had a Jolees sticker set I wanted to use.  

When I got home from my trip, these were the first photos I couldn't wait to scrap.  I pulled out my Jolees raincoat, umbrella and galoshes.   They were red and plaid, so it matched my floral sweater perfectly.  I started going through my papers and remembered that I had the Graphic 45 Raining Cats & Dogs collection.  I couldn't have been more thrilled when I realized that my floral sweater was the EXACT colors of the collection.  I couldn't have planned it better if I tried! This layout is one of my favorites in a while.

LM 407 - Transportation - Airplanes

This month at Lasting Memories, our theme is "transportation."  This week, our challenge is to use an airplane on your layout.

I was inspired by a layout that I saw by Ashley Horton.  Here's her original.  I literally bought this paper because of this layout.  I absolutely love it!

I decided to turn this into a 2 page layout for my Ireland trip itinerary.  I printed out our itinerary and used all of my favorite photos around it.  There's a photo from mostly everywhere we went during our trip.  My very favorite photo (at the Cliffs of Moher) is the larger photo on the left page.
