Weekend in NYC

Just a few photos to share from the weekend.  It was my goddaughter Colbin's 1st birthday and I spent the weekend with her and her mom (my bff).

NYC Pictures

Hey everyone!  I don't have anything crafty to post today, so I thought I would share some pictures from my trip to NYC this past weekend.  I stayed with my BFF and had some quality time with my 3 month old goddaughter, Colbin. 

On Saturday, we went to Roosevelt Island.  We walked the entire perimeter of the island.  We took Colbin to the playground on the island and she loved it. 

I gave Colbin this onesie for Christmas.  It says "My Auntie is #1"

Om Sunday, we went to Long Island City and walked around at the waterfront.  We walked all the way across the bridge into Manhattan.

My husband and I went to NYC this weekend to meet our beautiful goddaughter, Colbin.  She was born 11/16 and I am thrilled that we were finally able to make the trip up to see her.  Isn't she adorable?

Isn't she a cutie?  I can't wait to make a trip to NYC and meet her!  Congrats Dara and Rob!

As promised, here are some pics from my BFF's shower, which was on Saturday.  Her Mom and I planned the shower and I was in charge of decorations.  I hope you enjoy these pictures!

I made this cake.  I worked at a bakery for 6 years and I have always LOVED decorating cakes.

I got this onesie at Target.  It says "My aunt is my BFF" and I had to get it for Colbin!  Plus, it is purple (my favorite color!).  So I am in LOVE with it!
