Easter Cards

Happy Easter!  I just got the cutest Easter dies from Paper Trey Ink, so I wanted to use them to make my Easter cards.  Here's what I came up with:

I got a new toy...

I have been doing quite a lot of scrapbooking and card making, even though I haven't been very good about posting here.  I really need to work on that.

I go to crops at least once per month, plus I scrap at home at least a couple times per month.  I usually create the layouts and then come back later to add headlines, journaling and embellishments.

I just got a Cricut Explore Air machine!  I have had a Cricut & Gypsy for YEARS, and I LOVED them. However, I decided that it was time to upgrade.  I got the Michael's special because it was teal.  As you can see, my craft room walls are teal and I am even wearing teal today - it's one of my favorite colors.

Now I am concentrating on adding headlines, journaling, etc to any pages that are already completed in my albums.  As I finish them, I will be posting!

When I was setting up my Explore, I was prompted to make this adorable card.  It used the cut and write features.

Another quick & easy birthday card

I'm still using up some scraps and creating cards.  I used some gorgeous CTMH paper for this one.  The happy birthday & butterfly stamp are both by Stampin' Up.

I needed a couple baby cards, so I used my new "baby" die by Papertrey Ink and the footprint stamp by Stampin' Up.  The paper was some Stampin' Up scraps I was trying to use up.

Two canvases for my living room

We just finished painting our living room.  We chose a pale blue for the walls with an off-white trim.

I attended a Quick Quotes class a couple months ago.  We created a canvas in the class.  I also bought the companion canvas.  I finally finished both canvases for my living room.  I chose to make the flowers a pale blue to go with my walls.

Here it is on my shelf in the living room.  I'm so excited about these!

Christmas in July - Pollyanna Layout

Every year, my girlfriends and I do a "Chinese" pollyanna.  We each bring a wrapped gift.  We draw numbers from a hat.  The first person unwraps a gift.  The second person unwraps a new gift or steals the first person's gift.  (If someone's gift is stolen, they can either pick a new gift or steal someone elses).  And so on.  The game ends when the last gift is unwrapped.
