LM 500 - It's a Celebration - Bingo

This week at Lasting Memories, we are celebrating out 500th challenge!  We have a bingo board:

I decided to go right down the middle of the board.  I used chipboard, circles, free space, 5 or more patterned papers and die cuts.

I chose to scrap this photo of Ollie and Santa from Christmas 2018.

I used photos from a first communion party for my friend's son.  We took some great photos outside that day.  There's a photo of my husband and I on the facing page.

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use these 3 things on your layout: plain or gingham paper, hearts and a tag.

I created this layout using photos from my husband's 35th birthday.  He doesn't like to make a big fuss for birthdays, but I surprised him with giant balloons.  I also went to the bakery that we used to love near our old house (45 mins away).  I got him our favorite cake - YUM!

LM 497 - 3 things - Washi, stripes, stars

This week at Lasting Memories, our challenge is to use these 3 things on your layout: washi tape, stripes and stars.

This is the opening page for my 2019 album, so that's why there's no journaling.  I thought about using a solid colored background, but I'm glad I went with this one that had the painted stripes on the back.  I've been dying to use this gorgeous washi I found at Tuesday Morning and I absolutely love how this page turned out. 

I took Paige Evan's virtual class on Scrapbook.com.  She created a layout using washi tape like this and it really inspired this layout!

May Challenge YOUrself

Here's my DT entry for Challenge YOUrself.  This month, we have a "Mom" theme.

I had some photos from last year.  My mom and I became members at the Walnut Street Theater.  Legally Blonde was the 5th and final show for our membership.  It was AMAZING!

May Stick it Down

I created a layout using photos from my nephew's christening.  I am honored to be selected as his godmother.  Spencer was a year and a half in these photos, though he looks like a 4 year old.  I bought him his cute little white suit and I think I had to buy size 4T!  He's a big boy!

I created a layout using a photo from my annual pollyanna with my girlfriends.  I absolutely loved these girls stickers and they were perfect.
