Disneyland 2018

I wanted to share a quick and easy layout that I created.  This was made with a kit from Paper Wizard.  This is not my design.  

In January, my annual sales meeting for my job was in Aneheim, California.  Our meetings were over early and we had the opportunity to go to Disneyland.  Of course, I jumped at the chance.  I had so much fun visiting the park with some of my co-workers.

I am entering this layout into this month's challenge at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration.  Here's their inspiration image:

Brad Williams

I loved the colors in this case file at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.  Yellow and orange aren't colors I normally reach for, so it challenged me a bit.  I found a CTMH paper pack with similar colors, and I  switched out the black in the case file for navy blue.  It's extremely rare for me to use white for my background color, so I chose a gray instead.

For Christmas last year, we gave my father tickets to see Brad Williams at a local comedy club in March.  My father and I have watched his comedy specials on Comedy Central, so this was a perfect gift.  Brad was hilarious and we were able to get a photo with him after the show!

A Lovely Wedding

I loved the new case file at CSI Challenge.  These colors are right up my alley.  From the list of evidence, I used: stripes, hearts, bows, stars/starbursts (on invitation), mimic sprinkles on donuts (pink/white hearts background paper).

I thought the colors were similar to the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams Collection.  I used it to scrap photos from my friend's wedding last September.

Hello Paradise - CSI Challenge

I recently discovered CSI Challenge and this is the first time I am entering.  I love their inspiration photos.  They give a list of ideas of things in the photo too, so it was helpful.  From their list of ideas, I used similar colors, florals, leaves, solid background, stripes, dots, circles.  

Here's their case file:

I was in the Bahamas about two weeks ago and I could not wait to start scrapping the photos.  We stayed at Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.  It was absolutely incredible and I have some beautiful photos to scrap in the next couple months!  

The colors of the CSI Challenge were perfect for this layout and I am really happy with how it turned out.
